Maureen started at The Barking Dog in Derry in February 2020, working in daycare where she became known for her upbeat energy and ability to keep dogs engaged, safe, and happy. Maureen gained strong experience in canine behavior, body language, and group play while creating a fun, well-managed environment.

In February 2023, Maureen began training at the Paragon School for Pet Grooming. She progressed quickly, becoming a Groom Tech in April and a Pet Groomer by June 2023.

Continuing her education, Maureen completed Paragon’s Level 3 program and graduated on March 13, 2026, earning her Certified Professional Pet Stylist title. Today, Maureen combines hands-on experience with professional training to provide skilled, compassionate grooming.
