Emily has worked with dogs for over 4 years and is now a professional dog trainer. She has two dogs of her own that she has personally trained and one of them is currently training as a service animal for psychiatric service. 

For the past year Emily has worked at The Barking Dog as a Pet Host assisting our human friends, in our Daycare department keeping our playful pups safe and enriched, and in our boarding department as a Lead Pet Pro making sure our overnight guests are receiving the best care possible. It is safe to say that Emily is an integral part of our family here in Hooksett, and she is now onto to her next mission to help every dog she can! She has a deep passion for training and creating unbreakable bonds with all dogs she encounters and can’t wait to begin educating both the owners and their companions to create the best connection possible. 

Emily’s goal is to specialize in behavior modification and reactivity. She works very closely with the reactive dogs who board with us and has befriended every dog who comes through the door, no matter what obstacle she is faced with. Emily has a natural ability to read a dog’s body language and know what they are trying to communicate. Emily would love to meet you and your pup to help you both build a healthy, happy relationship that lasts a lifetime!
