Hi, my name is Elley and I am the trainer here at The Barking Dog Exeter. I have been interested in dogs, dog behavior, and training as long as I can remember and have been working with dogs my whole life. I became more involved in rescue and fostering dogs with various problematic behaviors, severe anxiety, and aggression. Working with these dogs and helping them to become confident and successful in their forever homes led me to my professional career as a full-time dog trainer. Since then, I have trained a variety of ages and breeds from basic obedience to public access work. My absolute favorite dogs to work with are high energy, high drive dogs and I have the most experience with herding and guard breeds.
