Job Descriptions

Kennel/Daycare Attendant 
Ideal applicant will have experience with dogs in either a daycare or kennel setting. Position is physically demanding (Applicant must be capable of lifting 70lbs), requires extensive cleaning, and focused supervision of dogs. The facility is open seven days a week, and scheduled hours could fall anywhere between 6am to 7pm. Must be willing to work weekends and some holidays. Front Desk Attendant
Applicant should be a well spoken, polished individual with a big smile, and the ability to multi-task in an extremely busy environment. Must be proficient with computers, phones and record keeping. A professional background in working with dogs is advantageous. Should be willing to work shifts in Kennel or Daycare if needed. Must be physically capable of handling large, high-energy dogs on a leash. Hours could fluctuate anywhere between 6:00am-7:30pm. One weekend day is required. Must be willing to work weekends and some holidays.
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience. Insurance Benefits and Vacation time are available for full time employees.

Dog Groomer 
Applicant must be available on Saturdays, and have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience grooming in all dog and cat breeds. Good scissoring skills and hand stripping a plus. Please provide portfolio pictures of work if possible. Candidates will be asked to perform a groom as part of interview process. Commission based on experience. Candidates must have basic grooming tools, including clippers, blades, and scissors.
Compensation: Commission. Insurance benefits are available for full time employees.

Manager
Candidate will be responsible for a hands-on approach in overseeing the day to day operations of dog-daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and customer service. They will manage and schedule a staff of 15-25 employees. The position requires a great deal of time at a VERY busy reception desk, so it’s imperative that the candidate must have exceptional ‘people skills’, strong organizational skills, be proficient at writing and using computers, and must possess a genuine love for animals. The positions also requires that the grounds and building be maintained to high standards. Hours of operation are 6:00am to 7:00pm, so the candidate must have flexibility in schedule. We care for animals 365 days a year, so weekend and holiday shifts must be worked also.
Compensation: Salary, Based on experience. Insurance Benefits, Life insurances and Vacation time are available.

Dog Trainer 
Ideal applicant would be a certified Canine Trainer who is highly experienced in assessing dog behavior. Applicant must have extensive experience in teaching advanced classes. Applicant must possess a passion for teaching people and training dogs with a dedication to excellence. Strong communication and client/employee relation skills necessary in addition to a polished presence. Must have strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation: Commission. Insurance benefits are available for full time employees.
