Founded on years of experience in the animal field, The Barking Dog, Ltd. has risen to become one of the premier pet service organizations in the country. We pride ourselves on high standards of care, professionalism, and a pleasant client experience.
Our Derry facility located on Rt. 28, opened in 1994 offering boarding, grooming and training. A large expansion took place in 2003, providing a 3500 sq ft gym along with a turfed outdoor yard to accommodate the growing client demand for daycare services and dog sports in the Derry area.
In 1999 a second facility opened in Hooksett NH serving greater Manchester. As with our Derry facility, it was built to the highest standards, offering spacious indoor/outdoor boarding, AC, heated floors, professional grooming services as well as training and daycare. A large addition began in Sept 2006, due to open early 2007, offering several indoor play gyms as well as an indoor/inground pool and turfed yards for our daycare guests.
Exeter NH was chosen for the third facility, opening in Dec of 2005. Located just off busy Rt 101 and easily accessible, this facility offers 20,000 sq ft of fun for dogs. The amenities are unmatched, offering swimming, indoor and outdoor play as well as professional grooming and a variety of dog sports, including agility and flyball.

Safety
The Barking Dog, Ltd. has management staff residing on premise and is fully equipped with a fire alarm system. Should any unforeseen emergency arise, veterinary care is on call for us 24 hours a day. If a non-emergency condition develops with your pet, we will make every effort to visit the vet you designate at check-in.
